Our story

A workshop built on reuse

Since 2021, Barking Stitch has focused on thoughtful garment remodelling, clothing alterations, and fabric reuse for customers who want to keep wearing what they already own.

The studio was built around a simple idea: good clothes should be adjusted, refreshed, and reimagined where possible. That includes vintage pieces, sentimental garments, and items that still have strong fabric worth reworking.

We explain what can be changed, what the garment can support, and where the limits are before any work is approved. If extra materials are needed, they are quoted separately and only after review.

From the first inquiry to collection, the process stays transparent. Fittings, finish checks, and written scope help keep each project clear and manageable.
